images are not saying I post

when I add content to velcity it gets on the page see .. left .. but it isnt on the right and when i leave that admin section the images also leave and then the images the landing page in those sections also leave!

Here are some more screen shots where I populated all of the 4 images 3 images etc.. when I save the page gets updated with the defaults not the images. Also as you can see when I go back the images are to there anymore. And if I save this I lose all the images again. Is this a permission issue? What folders should have what permissions? Also what are their update issues from larval that are not occurring?
